Before I opened Gilmore Bookkeeping, I spent more than a decade helping families understand insurance and benefits. Those decisions often came with unfamiliar terms, complicated rules, and a great deal of fine print. My job was to sort through the details, explain what mattered, and help each person understand the choices in front of them.
Bookkeeping drew me in because it uses many of those same strengths in a different way. I enjoy following the details until the full picture makes sense, finding where something went wrong, and explaining the answer in language a business owner can use.
I’m an Intuit-trained bookkeeper and Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, and I continue developing my skills through ongoing mentorship with experienced bookkeepers and CPA coaches. That combination of training, careful research, and professional support helps me approach each set of books thoughtfully—especially when the answer isn’t obvious.
